I hate people being able to look into my front door. I'm short, but the rest of the world isn't.

I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, so I made a sketch (always a good way to start) and decided on a simple hanging panel.

I decided to add some color to the boring old spring green and added a 3" strip of striped fabric.

I pinned and sewed the edges...

Then turned it inside out and left a 2" hole at the top for the curtain rod to slide in to.

Here's how it looks from inside the house, hanging on a simple rod mounted to the door.

When you come to visit - this is what you see from the porch. This is good for summer, but I will definitely need different colors for winter...
