I used this recipe for rolled maccha cake, and put it in this cute flower petit four pan. The original plan was to inject sweet red bean (an) into them, but I didn't have any. Maybe next time.

These would be cute for showers, but I've just finished the best shower ever, so I'll just have to eat them myself.

Green Tea cakes

Prep your petit four pan. Again, butter is king, and they should lift out fairly easily using two forks. Just be generous.

Make the cake batter.
For cake ingredients, go HERE.

Using two spoons, fill each mold about 3/4 full.
*If you want to fill them with an, fill 1/2 way, add a little spoonful of an, then top with more cake batter.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. When the cakes get a slight brown hue, they are done. They should pop out easily from the pan.
Sprinkle them with powdered sugar. They are light and a cute bite size. Great with tea, of course.
