I like bundt pans, ok? Er, I like 'em a lot. I am particular about them though. And when I saw this one, well I had to have it. Too cute.

I don't have a recipe for you here, I just wanted to show you the steps to using this super cute pan.

All I did was use this PLAIN CAKE recipe. You can use any type you like, but hey - it was for O.G.'s birthday and the woman is damn particular.

Sandcastle Cake

As always, butter the cake pan with a sili-brush and NO FLOUR. It'll pop right out, I tell ya!

How cute is this? I added some brown sugar around the base to make it look like a 'sand'castle, and some bright blue sanding sugar for a moat out front.

I also cut little flags for the towers cause I just couldn't resist. I'm sure you can frost and decorate the hell out of this but it really isn't necessary. It looks pretty good as is.

Fill the pan almost to the top. You want all of the decorative curves to show. Always put a baking sheet under your pan just in case it overflows. You never know and who wants to clean an oven anyway?
