Super
easy recipe, just requires a rice cooker, that's about it. No skillz, no special
ingredients.
*Shoyu
- soy sauce
*Gohan - rice

Ingredients:
2 cups short grain rice, washed and drained
1 package tofu, drained and cut into small cubes
1-1/2 cups water
3 drops sesame oil
1/8 cup soy sauce
whatever else you've got (it's up to you):
white mushrooms
shitake mushrooms
green onions
carrots
Obviously, tofu is a huge factor in this meatless recipe. I prefer 'firm', as soft tends to crumble. Chope the pieces kind of smallish and you'll get good texture in the final product.
Mix all your ingredients together.
Put it a rice cooker and turn it on. It's that simple.



When done, it will look like this.
Really simple, easy recipe that you can change and add to however you want.

I would say, DEFINITELY sprinkle some pepper, and a little furikake, or you can shred some nori (dried seaweed) on top. It really makes the taste. Yum!
